The second annual Skagit Super Cup was a great success (except for Friday's weather). With 172 teams, all of Northwest United came out and played some great soccer, giving all their opponents a run for their money. We brought home 7 Championships and 8 Finalists.

Vega's U11 Premier boys won by an astounding 7-2 in the finals.
Moe's U14 Premier boys won with a final score of 3-1 after an interesting, but well played, 10 minute overtime.
Powell's U17 Premier boys and U13 Premier girls both won 1-0.
Houplin's U14 Premier girls won by a landslide at 7-1, as well as her U18 Premier girls with a final of 3-0.
Lastly, Powell's U17 Premier girls won 4-0 to bring home the gold.

Our 8 finalists were: Ortiz's GU13 Classics, Martin's BU13 Premiers and BU15 Premiers, MacKay's GU9 Premiers and GU16 Premiers, both Houplin's GU10 Premiers and Saldivar's GU10 Classics, and Savoy's GU17 Classics - they all played their hearts out until the last second.

A very impressive weekend indeed! As always, we are incredibly proud of the hard work our players have put into this first leg of the season, and all of us here at Northwest United are really looking forward to see what the Fall League has in store for our teams. Go United!
